Demzy Gh on Nopras 107.5Fm on Tuesday has said that, Eastern Region do not have the necessary logistics of keeping and preserving it’s talents and to see them breaking through the Entertainment market nationwide and this has been the very reason why artistes from the region normally vacates to other regions to pursue their talent.
Speaking on ShowbizToday with Gideon Kwaku Ofori as the host, the Entertainment critic appealled that, “Eastern region do not have good sound engineers and standard recording studios which produces good sounds for various artistes to put in their lyrics. No eastern region beat maker with his studios established in the region has ever produce a song which has gotten a nationwide recognition and its a fact that, these artistes cannot be recognized unless they have good and recognized beat makers to produce their songs, hence their vacation from the region.” he said, when reacting to a question ‘Is the Eastern Region Capable of preserving it’s talent?’
Demzy Gh putting on his signature on issues surrounding eastern region entertainment industry, he said “Industry players in the region are capable of promoting their artistes to the top and be recognized nationwide but the fact is, they are not being flexible. There is no warm relationship existing between music makers and media personals in the region and for that matter, there is no passion and flexibility from the media in supporting the artiste’s work unless they have meet a required amount charged by the media. Since they can’t afford, their talents remains with them without getting to the public domain to be recognized and this the main reason why Eastern Region Entertainers do not get recognition from the region unless they vacate.” He said.
